11 AM - 12 PM | Danda the Panda Book Reading

Greenwood local, Terri Roberts-Leonard, is a diversity, equity and inclusion trainer and educator whose focus is on community service and education. Terri uses transparency, engagement and holistic approaches to build relationships and encourage learning and community development.

Terri's book series is Danda the Panda. Danda the Panda Welcome to My World was released in 2020 and Danda the Panda Love Makes a Family was released in May of 2021 and is co-authored by her young son. The book's main character is Danda, an adopted panda. This book series will cover a wide range of topics including adoption, bullying and more. It is a great companion piece for curriculum to aid children in understanding various life lessons.

Terri will read her two books at 11:00 AM and will be available to sign purchased books until 12 PM. Kids will have the opportunity to craft their own bookmarks.

10 AM - 2 PM | HATTIE LOU BLOOMS POP-UP

At just 10 years old, Hattie dreamed up and founded Hattie Lou Blooms. All flowers are grown and planted in her backyard in Franklin. With her business, her goal has always been to spread kindness, and she is committed to giving 20% of her proceeds back to local organizations. Last year alone, she has been able to donate to Riley, The Cure Starts Now, Franklin Community School Corporation (hats, gloves, mittens), Imagination Library of Johnson County, and A Kid Again-Indiana Chapter. With big plan to expand her garden space in spring 2024, Hattie excited to bring her blooms to Grafton Peek Mercantile.
